New Client Intake + Distant Healing

Service Description

If you're a first time client, it is REQUIRED that you book a NEW CLIENT INTAKE along with your session of choice. We'll discuss your needs, intentions, consent, a small health history and what you hope to receive from the session. During our distant sessions, your webcam must remain on for the entire session. This is for safety reasons, so I can monitor your reactions and stay engaged with your energy. I practice Usui Shiki Ryoho Reiki, a traditional form of Reiki re-discovered by Dr. Mikao Usui of Japan. Reiki is a gentle, energy-based healing modality that works with the universal life force energy to support the body’s natural ability to heal itself. During a session, Reiki may be offered either through light touch or with hands hovering just above the body, depending on your comfort. This energy is often described as a pure source of light and love, flowing through me and out of my hands to you. However, because this is distant reiki, my hands will not be touching or hoovering over you. I will instead have my hands turned up and my palms facing a turned on webcam. Please make sure that you're somewhere comfortable, that feels safe to you, where you can fully relax and will not be disturbed. Every person’s Reiki experience is unique. Some sensations you may notice include: - Gentle tingling or pulsing in the body - Warmth or waves of heat - Seeing colors, shapes, or patterns with closed eyes - A sense of deep calm or emotional release Some side effects you may experience after a Reiki Session include, - headache - tiredness/lethargic - feeling emotional/ emotional release - an early start to your menstruation cycle - feeling sick or flu like Please know that your experience will be your own, and there is no right or wrong way to receive Reiki. Some things to consider prior to your session are, bringing crystals (you're welcome to use some of mine), dim the lights, have a warm blanket, soft background music, wear comfy clothes, warm socks, bring water, a small snack, an eye mask (I also provide one) or anything else you think you might need to have an enjoyable experience.
